Christophe Van Langenhove

Summary

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and an Affiliated Researcher at Ghent University (UGent). I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from Ghent University in 2025. My research focuses on the drivers of wealth inequality and wealth mobility, using U.S. micro data and heterogeneous-agent models. At the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, I teach introductory and intermediate courses in macroeconomics and supervise master’s dissertations.
